• What is the level of studies required in order to be admitted to the DESS Juriste International ?

Students holding a French "Maîtrise" (4th year of University) in law, business or IUP Juriste d'Entreprise can apply to the DESS. Foreign students will have to justify the holding of an equivalent diploma.

• What is the deadline for the collection of the application form ?

The collection of the application form has to take place between end of May and middle June, either at the entrance of the University or by mail (containing an additional envelope stamped and named) addressed to:

• What are the exam conditions ?

        The "Admissibilité-Admission" applies.

        In order to be admissible, the student takes two written exams lasting five hours. For each of them it is required an average of 20 out of 40. Both written exams are chosen at random.                           

        As far as admissibility is concerned, are taken into account:

        > Subject matters not subject to a written examination:

                Oral, written and /or continuous assessments within the term.

        > The report of the stage

        > The thesis or projectt

        > A global assessment for the "English Workshop"

        > An assessment for sportive performances

• Is it advantageous to hold the DESS diploma when planning to take the Bar exam ?

        You may benefit an exemption from the written practical exam if you ask for it.
